Career Networking Event Held at SEI Center: Direct Dialogue Between Interns and Employers

On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the SEI Center hosted a Career Networking event as a key activity within its youth employment support program. The event brought together selected interns—who had successfully completed the evaluation and selection process—with employers who had expressed their willingness to participate in the professional development of young individuals with no prior work experience.

The primary aim of the event was to establish direct connections between interns and potential employers in a professional and dynamic setting. Interns had the opportunity to present their skills, education, interests, and motivation for work, while employers introduced their organizations and explored potential matches for future collaboration.

This approach not only supports young people in securing their first job but also enables them to gain valuable hands-on experience—an essential element for improving their competitiveness in the labor market. At the same time, employers are given the chance to recognize emerging talents and contribute to their professional growth through structured mentoring.

Following the event, employers who wish to engage a particular intern are required to submit a letter of intent to the Commission, clearly stating the full name of the candidate. In addition, they must provide a detailed internship program that includes the name, qualifications, and competencies of the assigned mentor, along with documentation confirming the mentor’s affiliation with the organization. 📑🖋️

The SEI Center remains committed to organizing similar initiatives aimed at strengthening socio-economic inclusion, increasing youth employability, and building sustainable bridges between education and the labor market. The Career Networking event marks another important step toward a future in which young people have clearer pathways to employment, and employers can form teams of motivated and promising individuals.
