Training Completed at the SEI Center: Next Steps – Business Plan Development and Contract Signing
A three-day training was successfully completed at the SEI Center for 13 users of our services, following public calls for self-employment, start-up development, and engagement in preparatory internships in cooperation with employers and unemployed individuals. The goal of these activities is to support the employment of marginalized groups.
The training, led by Professor Slavko Simić, PhD, focused on the fundamentals of business operations and the development of business plans for advancing entrepreneurial ideas. One of the key objectives of the SEI project is to actively engage unemployed individuals registered with the Employment Bureau – who belong to the project’s target groups – in professional training and integration into the labor market.
Participants had the opportunity to learn more about the SEI project, the basics of writing and marketing a business idea, as well as the overall concept of running a business within their local community and beyond.
Following the training, the next phase includes the finalization of business plans and their submission within the agreed deadline for review by the evaluation committee. After that, contracts will be signed with the Development Guarantee Fund of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
