Psychosocial Counselor

Sabina Ahmičić-Gušo

Sabina Ahmičić-Gušo was born on January 17, 1985, in Brčko. She completed her primary and secondary education in Crikvenica, Croatia. Her love for human beings, their capacity to grow, develop, and change, as well as her interest in working with children, determined the course of her further education. The logical next step was enrolling in the studies of Pedagogy and Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Tuzla.

Her ability for introspection and a refined sense of empathy are the main reasons for her eternal fascination with the human mind and interpersonal relationships.

The desire for personal, as well as professional, growth and development led her into the world of psychotherapy, and she is currently in her fourth year of Integrative Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents.

Through years of experience in positions as a professional associate pedagogue and psychologist in several primary and secondary schools, as well as working in the non-governmental sector on projects aimed at strengthening the capacities of youth and children, and through direct work with children with developmental difficulties and their parents, she has created a supportive environment tailored to the individual needs of users, with the goal of providing quality psychosocial support in overcoming the challenges they face.

She believes that through personal work on oneself, with the guidance of a professional, anyone can discover their potential, get to know and understand themselves, and define their own life priorities that will bring fulfillment and happiness.
