International Trade Fair in Brčko: Presentation of the SEI Project and Beneficiaries of the SEI Center Business Incubator

Under the slogan “Brčko District BiH – A Unique Development Opportunity,” the 19th International Trade Fair of the Brčko District of BiH was held in Brčko from October 15 to 17, 2025.

As part of the project “Socio-Economic Inclusion in the Brčko District of BiH,” funded by the Government of the Czech Republic through the Czech Development Agency, the Brčko District Development and Guarantee Fund participated in the fair as an exhibitor, together with the partner organization CARE International Balkans and the beneficiaries of the SEI Center Business Incubator.

Numerous delegations visited our exhibition stand, including the Principal Deputy High Representative and Brčko Supervisor Louis J. Crishock. The SEI Project Manager, Branislav Tanasijević, expressed readiness for the Supervisor’s future visit to the SEI Center, in order to provide a more detailed overview of the Business Incubator’s activities and introduce the beneficiaries who started their own businesses through the project.

“The Trade Fair is an ideal opportunity to promote the SEI Center and the services it provides. During the three days of the fair, SEI Center staff engaged directly with citizens and company representatives, exploring models for cooperation and support. The occasion was also used to invite the Deputy High Representative to visit the SEI Center and see firsthand how the funds provided by the EU member state, the Czech Republic, have been invested,” said Tanasijević.

This important economic event, returning to Brčko after a five-year break, brought together more than one hundred exhibitors from the Brčko District, the region, and neighboring municipalities – representing sectors such as agriculture, the food industry, green energy, services, and innovative technologies.
